Yes another travel related thread. Why don't you folks share stories of your travels? cool/bad/interesting/wierd/whatever things that have happened or that you have seen, experienced, eaten, had sex with etc.

I went to Hiroshima on a study trip and ended up going to a punk rock concert in a crowded stage room on the top floor of a department store. I stuck out like a sore thumb. Imagine if all your fingers were about 5 inches tall, and then your thumb was 6 inches. That kind of thumb. Wicked fun though, caught the lead singer chick's sweat rag and gave it to my host brother. He practically jizzed his pants.
One time when I was in Vancouver, B.C. I was standing outside my hotel at something like 8am talking to this guy I know who was a local and I see in my periphery these two dark figures walk by.
At first I thought they were prostitutes or something (yeah 8am), but I look again and it was two dudes. Two dudes (I think) dressed in like these black leather corset things and these fishnet stalkings and stilettos and these wierd chains and leather hats and shit. Basically they were hardcore cross dressing tranny (I think) types.
So I look again and I see this and I must have had some expression of horror on my face cause the guy I was with just started laughing himself to death. He would later explain to me that apparently my hotel was in the tranny town of the city or some kind centre of sexual ambiguity.
That was the first time I'd seen two hardcore drag queens in person and it happened way early in the morning for me to be prepared for it.
